Start with the symptom
Which check should you book?
Describe what happens, when it started and any recent tire change, impact or suspension work. A symptom points to a check, not a guaranteed diagnosis.
Pulling or a wheel that is not centered
Check tire pressures and condition, then measure four-wheel geometry. Road slope, tire characteristics, brake drag or suspension faults can also cause pulling.
Ask for an assessment before authorizing adjustment alone.
Shaking at certain speeds
Start with wheel and tire condition, correct seating and balancing. A bent wheel, tire damage or another mechanical fault can leave vibration even after balancing. Visible rim damage may need a wheel repair or replacement assessment.
Report the speed range you already noticed. Do not perform a high-speed test yourself.
Uneven wear or a recent impact
Inspect the tread across each tire and check for damaged or loose components. Geometry correction cannot repair existing tire damage.
Clunks, looseness or ride-height faults may need suspension diagnosis first.
Sudden severe pulling, a damaged tire or unstable handling? Stop driving when safe and call to discuss assessment or recovery. Do not continue driving just to reach an alignment appointment.

Alignment or balancing: what changes?
Four-wheel alignment
Measure how the wheels sit relative to the vehicle and each other. Correct permitted settings using the applicable Tesla specification after tire and suspension checks.
Wheel balancing
Check the rotating wheel and tire assembly for imbalance and correct it with suitable weights. Ask how many wheels the price covers and whether further vibration diagnosis is included.
One service does not automatically include the other. Four-wheel measurement also does not mean every angle has a simple adjustment.

Measure the right Tesla configuration
Check the foundation
Record the model, year, fitted wheel and tire sizes, pressures, wear, suspension condition and modifications. Resolve looseness, damaged tires or an incorrect ride height before final alignment.
Use the applicable procedure
Model 3 and Model Y variants need the correct specification and setup. Tesla’s 2020 to 2024 Model Y alignment guidance distinguishes Performance settings and explains the use of ballast for certain adjustments. It does not provide a universal specification for every Tesla.
Model S and Model X equipment varies by build. Where air suspension is fitted, the correct ride-height and service setup are part of obtaining meaningful measurements.
Agree any extra correction
Toe, camber and caster are different measurements. Some corrections require more than a routine adjustment. Explain the finding and proposed repair before adding parts or extra labor.
Verify the result
Review the final readings and steering position, then assess the original complaint when safe. Required resets or calibration depend on the actual vehicle and work performed.

What different bookings might involve
Hypothetical examples only. Each assumes serviceable tires, wheels and suspension. These are category estimates, not complete inspected quotations or customer job records.
2021 Model 3 with a steering wheel that is not centered
After inspection, a standard four-wheel measurement and permitted adjustment is sufficient. No parts or tire replacement are assumed.
2022 Model Y with confirmed wheel imbalance
Balance four serviceable wheel and tire assemblies. The starting calculation is four times the per-wheel benchmark. Alignment is a separate decision.
2019 Model S requiring an involved alignment setup
Assume the vehicle is quoted within the luxury or performance alignment category after checking its fitted suspension. Air-system repairs are not included.
Ask which inspection and completion tasks are included in your final quote. No parts warranty is implied by these examples. Confirm the workshop’s written workmanship and recheck terms.

Read the alignment report at collection
- Vehicle setup
- Correct model, variant and specification, with required loading or ride-height conditions accounted for.
- Before readings
- The measured angles and the condition that prompted correction. A colored box alone does not identify the cause.
- After readings
- Which angles changed, any remaining deviation and why additional work was or was not recommended.
- Complaint check
- Whether the original pull, steering position or vibration was resolved, and the next step if it remains.
A green report is only useful when the correct vehicle specification and setup were used. Request an explanation of the results, not just a printout.
After the appointment
Protect the adjustment and watch the wear
First drive
Notice steering position and any remaining symptoms during normal safe driving. Report a persistent pull or vibration rather than assuming more alignment is always the answer.
Routine checks
Maintain the cold tire pressure shown for your vehicle. Have inner, middle and outer tread wear checked, particularly if wear was the original complaint.
After a change or impact
Ask about a geometry check after relevant suspension work, a significant pothole impact or a new tire set. Follow the applicable Tesla maintenance guidance rather than a blanket fixed alignment interval.
Damaged tires need a separate decision
Alignment cannot restore worn tread or repair structural damage. Use the tire repair assessment and replacement service when the tire itself may be unserviceable.
How much does Tesla wheel alignment cost in Dubai?
The estimated market guide is AED 157.50 to 315 for a standard four-wheel alignment category, or AED 315 to 630 for a more involved luxury or performance setup, including 5% VAT. Balancing starts from a market reference of AED 31.50 per wheel. These are not confirmed Tesla Repair Dubai rates. Your quote must specify inspection, permitted adjustments, balancing and any additional repairs.
How long should I allow for the appointment?
Confirm the completion estimate after the workshop knows your Tesla configuration and inspection scope. Measurement alone, routine adjustment and additional camber or caster correction are different jobs. Damaged parts, seized hardware, required setup or further vibration diagnosis can extend the visit. Ask about the appointment, parts availability if relevant and the collection plan before arrival.
Does wheel vibration mean my Tesla needs alignment?
Not necessarily. Tire imbalance, damage, incorrect seating or wheel runout can cause vibration. Start with an inspection and balancing assessment. Alignment may also be needed if there is a separate geometry issue.
Should I ask for front alignment or four-wheel alignment?
Ask for four-wheel geometry to be assessed so the front settings can be considered with the rear wheel direction. What can be adjusted, and what requires additional correction, depends on your Tesla and its condition.
Can all camber and caster readings be adjusted easily?
No. There is no universal adjustment method across Tesla models and builds. Model 3 and Model Y do not have dedicated camber and caster adjustment points in the cited Tesla guidance. The workshop should explain the applicable procedure and any extra work.
Is balancing included when I book alignment?
Do not assume it is. Ask for alignment and balancing as separate quote lines and confirm how many wheels are included. Tire replacement and additional vibration diagnosis can also be separate.
Will alignment fix a worn tire?
No. It may correct a cause of uneven wear, but it cannot replace missing tread or make a damaged tire safe. Have the tire condition assessed before proceeding.
Does every alignment require camera calibration?
No universal calibration promise is appropriate. Required resets or calibration depend on the model, the applicable Tesla procedure and the work performed. Ask whether any are required and included.
What should I send before an appointment?
Send the model, year, wheel size and a description of pulling, vibration or uneven wear. Mention recent impacts, tire changes, suspension work and modifications. Confirm the inspection charge, appointment and whether it is safe to drive in.
